!nspire 999 was established to document and preserve the remarkable individuals within our Emergency Services and their inspiring stories. Our mission is to honour, educate, and inspire by showcasing these stories through this ever-evolving online exhibition.

We aim to document the experiences of both past and present emergency services personnel, from those on the front line to those in administrative roles, as each and everyone plays a vital role in the functioning of the emergency services. Every story shared will become part of the research and archive collection at the National Emergency Services Museum.

Use the tabs above to navigate this website, explore existing stories in the current archive and use the ‘Share your story’ link to help us build this inspirational archive.
